Readers answer mother's cry for help

A story published recently about a 3 year old boy falling into boiling water touched the hearts of many readers.
A total of VND30 million ($1,598) has been donated by hundreds of readers that want to help this little boy and his recovery.

One reader, 61, shared his feelings about reading of Loi's struggle, “I burst out crying when I read the story. My son, who is now studying in UK, called and asked me to go to the hospital to support Loi."

A businessman from Ho Chi Minh City who asked to remain anonymous, told us that, “I didn’t know anything about Loi until my colleagues called and asked me to help him. I was very touched as he is only 3 years old." He encouraged Loi’s mother to continue caring for him and handed her his colleagues donations, totaling VND1 million.

One doctor told us that, “Currently, Loi is conscious, however, he will continue to be in constant pain for awhile.”

Doctor Le Dinh Man said that Loi will recieve100 percent of the donations which will help with his treatment and recovery
