New Zealand singer to perform in HCM City

Monday, June 14, 2010 (GMT+7)

Jayson Norris, a singer and songwriter from New Zealand, will have two shows in HCM City, slated for mid-June.

Norris is a new name for Vietnamese audiences, but he has been known in his home country and in Britain, where he lives and work, since 2006.

This singer has released two albums, entitled “A Basket Full” and “Freedom to Live,” with songs he wrote and mixed by himself.

“A Basket Full” was a big success, which enabled Norris to tour Britain and perform beside singers and bands like Blue King Brown, Pete Murray, Dave Dobbyn, Breaks Co – Op and Black Seeds. He was also invited to take part in popular UK music shows like Love Box, Secret Garden and Toast.

Norris will perform in Vietnam for the first time on June 16 and 17, at Hard Rock Café Saigon, featuring hits like “Love Someone”, “Freedom to Live” and “Magic Words”.
