International Documentary Film Week scheduled in Hanoi

Ten European and Vietnamese documentaries will be screened during the Hanoi International Documentary Film Week from June 21-25.

This is the second time the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio and some European embassies in Vietnam organized this festival, after the first in 2009.

The festival will introduce documentaries from Belgium, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France and Vietnam.

Two films will be screened each night for free at 465 Hoang Hoa Tham, Hanoi.

June 21: A documentary from Belgium and another from Vietnam about architecture

June 22: Italian and Vietnamese films about spiritual life.

June 23, German and Vietnamese films about culture

June 24: Documentaries of Switzerland and Vietnam about cultural heritage

June 25: French and Vietnamese documentaries about women.
