The biggest collage art painting in Vietnam

The Vietnam Record Book Center confirmed that the collage art painting “Den hen lai len” (Appointment back to date) of painter Hiep Ho Dac is the biggest collage art painting in Vietnam.
The painter Hiep Ho Dac lives in No. 185 Le Van Luong, Tan Kieng Award, 7 District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The original painting’s sizes are 140 x 300cm. It was made from gabage paper. The painter cut and tore thousands of magazines, newspapers, catalogue, etc and these pieces of paper were arranged and stuck into a painting.

Mr Hiep Ho Dac chose the subject “Den hen lai len” to show life of people in the Northern Vietnam in the Lim Festival in Bac Ninh Province. In the painting, images of men and women who were singers in four-panel traditional dress and flat palm hat with fringes singing duo of love songs.
Mr Hiep sent the message through the picture (art creation) to make the environment more and more friendly.
The painting will be officially displayed on the occasion of the Hue Festival 2010 as well as the World Environment Day on June, 5th.
